MARTIN WOODBRIDGE – DIRECTOR OF GOLF
I first swung a golf club at the age of 6 whilst participating in the Junior Classes and Camps at my local golf club. With a few years away playing football, I returned to the game at the age of 12 with my first Junior Membership and playing golf with friends at weekends and throughout the school holidays.
I’ve been a PGA Professional since 2006, turning professional with a handicap of +0.2.
Since then, I have gone on to win 44 Professional Tournaments so far and have competed in several different countries. My passion for playing and improving others golf games is a strong focus in my career as a Professional.
I have taught every standard of golfer throughout my career, from complete beginners to fellow professionals.

JAMIE PALMER – SENIOR ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL
Having been a Junior Member at Badgemore since I started the game at the age of 15, it has seen me from the very start of my golfing journey. From joining the Professional Shop Team in July 2016 to turning Professional in September 2019, I played golf everyday including Christmas Day to get myself in the position to take the leap and start my Professional Golf career. Since turning professional I have played in many Professional Golf events throughout the country and coached golfers of all abilities, beginners to fellow professionals. Having coached the game now for 3 years I have built a consistent teaching method that has helped beginners from their first shot, to winning club competitions and competing in club matches at a very competitive standard. To also helping single figure handicappers, scratch golfers and fellow professionals find those small margins that make big differences.
I have also been the driving force behind growing the junior section and coaching offering at Badgemore for the last 2 years, having started junior summer camps, to having a small Junior Academy every Saturday morning, with it now growing into having 2 Junior golfers on Scholarships for 2023. It has seen a great rise and will only continue to grow.

JOHN ROUTLEDGE – ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL
I got into Golf at the age of 8 in Carlisle, Cumbria. I represented Cumbria from u14s all the way through to u18s and was part of a Junior team which came 2nd place in the all England finals at Woburn in 2006. At 18 I retired my clubs for a few years to focus on education, resulting in a digital marketing career for around 9 years whilst starting to play at an elite amateur level again at 23. Having been a member and club champion at Badgemore Park, I made the decision to swap the corporate lifestyle to pursue my true passion in life and become a professional golfer in 2021. I am now 2 years into my PGA qualification where I aim to focus on the coaching side of the golf industry. I currently run 1-1 sessions on all areas of golf (long game, chipping, putting) and also head up the Badgemore ladies group coaching sessions which take place weekly throughout the year.
